Is golf like marketing?

Hey, with a little imagination, anything is possible.

Or so we’ve been told.

Honestly, not all of us are totally sure what the connection is. But that didn’t stop our copywriter (and world’s worst golfer), James, from trying to find out. Did he succeed? Check out this video and see for yourself.

1. Have a plan.

Set realistic goals that you and your team—and your clients—can achieve. This will keep you motivated while allowing you to project your success.

2. Be prepared.

Research market trends, customer behavior, and the competitive landscape so you can create a game plan that really scores with your target audience.

3. Stay focused.

Make sure your marketing plan focuses on the customer from start to finish. What does the customer journey look like? How will you adapt your interactions from one stage to the next? Keeping your customers engaged is key.

4. Be confident.

Did you know that confidence is something you can actually learn? When you’re working with your team to execute your marketing efforts, celebrate achievements, show support, be positive, and use appropriate body language.

5. Give it your all!

This one’s simple, and it’s just like my old man used to tell me: If a job’s worth doing, it’s worth doing right. Don’t half-ass it out there, and do not quit. Push yourself to be great. Finish strong. You can do it!
