We recently sent out a survey that gave our friends and readers an opportunity to give their input on these blogs. We know that not everything we write is the answer to one of your burning questions, so we asked you – what are your burning questions?
We received some great responses. And we’ll address them. Some of them we can address right away. Some of them will take a little research on our end. We’re excited to be able to use this blog to help our readers discover ways they can improve their own marketing strategies. Thank you for your feedback.
So what were some of your questions?
Many of you would like more information on social media. We get it. While some things like billboards, radio, direct mail and even video have been around for decades, social media is new, and while it’s a great way to reach a variety of people, it’s key to engaging millennial audiences. We’ve written about some of these aspects before, such as here and here. But we’ll keep digging. And if there’s some specific platform you’d like more information about, let us know! Social media is an encompassing term – there are many social media sites, apps and networks. So let’s get specific. Asking to learn about social media is like asking to learn about food. Cooking food? Growing food? Nutrition? Meat? Cheese? Mexican food? Pasta? Which mushrooms are poisonous? Why are olives so disgusting? This is all to say that we’ll keep offering information on different ways to use various social media platforms effectively, but if there’s something specific you’d like to learn about it, please let us know!
A few of you requested more information on content marketing. As the person currently writing this content, that you’re currently reading, I know a thing or two about generating engaging content. And I love to brag about it. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for this opportunity. So buckle up, because in the next few months I’ll be sharing some of my best tips for creating content. And I’ll even tell you what “content” means from a marketing perspective, because no one ever knows what my job is and I’m getting tired of explaining the difference between “copywriting” and “copyrighting.”
Someone wants more pictures and videos of Jerry, which likely means that his mom took the survey.
Jerry isn’t a trained circus animal and he rarely performs on command, but rumor has it he can be enticed by peppermint patties sent to the office. 229 Lake St.
Do any of these topics interest you? Is there something else you wish we’d write about that isn’t listed above? Tell us! It’s just 3 questions, and we really want to help! We also promise to address every request, and it’s anonymous, so pour your heart out. Just like Frasier Crane, we’re listening.
