We’ve written about our work for St. Bonaventure before. We’ve done a lot of great work for them, across a bunch of different platforms. Earlier this year, we helped them promote their Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management degree program. You’ve already seen the informational magazine we created (and if you haven’t, you can read about it here). Now it’s time to talk about the video. Industrial Management is all about combining standard business and management skills with the burgeoning technology that’s ruling the manufacturing world. It’s a necessary intersection, and it’s the kind of job that a lot of business majors end up in anyway. So why not educate students to excel in those positions, not just fall into them and learn as they go? But convincing a teenager or young adult that this new field is exciting and lucrative and brag-worthy is always an uphill battle. It needs a compelling story. It needs language that gets to the point. It needs information presented in an interesting way. The video we created features animated information graphics that correspond to direct, to-the-point voice over. The narration speaks directly to the audience, and the animation illustrates the points in a compelling, clever way. It has quick transitions, bold statements and a simple animation style that enhances the message without distracting the audience. I could write more about it, but the point of a video is to watch it. So watch it! Below! It’s embedded!
We love projects like this. Projects where we get to be creative, and projects where the whole team gets to flex their muscles and show off a little. Videos are fun. If you click on the link to our Vimeo page under the video, you’ll see other videos we’ve made. Enjoy!
